ABOUT US
The Institute for Vocal Advancement
In 2013, the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) was founded by nine singing teachers who shared a passion for singing and helping others find their voices. Our goal is to make the best and most efficient training in singing available to everyone and further the development of vocal pedagogy. We believe by doing so, we contribute to making the gift of song available to as many people as possible.
Over many years, we've developed effective methods for training singers and singing teachers. Our programs help singing teachers understand how the voice works and quickly diagnose and fix problems in the voice.
We work from the singer's perspective and consider the voice to be one system consisting of individual parts that every singer needs to learn to coordinate.
